The X-men went into this conflict confident. The Reavers swore that they would stop at nothing, literally.
Cyclops believed that he could lead Beast & Iceman into battle. He was not to be far wrong, but he came close to paying the ultimate price (which in the X-Universe means little).
The Reavers when in strong. Every deployment roll favored the machines. They pushed early to press the attack, but missed their rolls. Bonecrusher, because of back to back snake-eye rolls was out early. But the reinforce rolls went the Reavers way and they were able to get help from the Serpent Society.
The X-Men, using their team work were able to heal up their wounded leader, Cyclops, and dispatch the snakes. With only one click of life left for Cyclops, the game ended. The X-men were victorious, leaving only one Reaver, Skullbuster to join forces with the strong Hellfire Club in the next round.
The X-men will team up with a strong Archangel in hopes of overcoming the odds against the Black King and his forces.
